The Role

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :

  • Coordinates the configuration of plan changes on the SAP commission platform including general plan maintenance, crediting and calculation rules, reporting/analytics, and data validations.
  • Configures system settings and options, plans an executes integration and acceptance testing, and creates specifications for automated systems to meet business requirements.
  • Partners with team to evaluate, analyze, and translate business needs into functional requirements.
  • Ensures the timely delivery and data integrity of all Commission System-related processes required to maintain up-to-date information for daily reporting and to meet the Workday payout deadline.
  • Consult regularly with the project team regarding configuration updates and/or changes within compensation and/or performance management plans.
  • Works with the Commission System Project Team to develop and administer any related tools, training, and strategies that help further the implementation of the Commission System within the enterprise.
  • Supports configuration changes within Success Factors and Commissions tools for Performance Management.
  • Coordinate with Sales Strategy on large changes and enhancements for configuration and development for Performance Management.
  • Facilitates change and release management process.
  • Accountable for requirements definition and SIT and UAT test planning for changes prioritized within the change management process.
  • Serves as a resource for more advanced system troubleshooting and resolves advanced technical issues, including troubleshooting and enhancement for existing and new features within the application and system structures.


QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
Minimum

  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline (technical, business, management, analysis) and 4 years' experience in a related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master's degree and 2 years of experience; a Ph.D. and up to 1 year of experience; or 8 years of experience in a related field.
  • Requires strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Excellent analytical, technical, and collaborative skills to work effectively with teams throughout the organization.
  • Conceptual understanding of how database systems operate; ability to ask the right questions to gain a firm understanding of systems and data.
  • SAP systems or similar comp-related application experience.
  • Experience in reviewing technical specifications, and other project documentation.
  • Fully competent and productive professional contributor with a demonstrated ability to work autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and time constraints.


Preferred

  • MS degree + 2 years of experience preferred in a related discipline (i.e. technical, business, management, analysis, etc.) OR Ph.D.+ up to 1 year of experience in a related discipline (i.e. Technology, Marketing, Sales, Sales Operations, etc.).
  • Experience in SAP Commissions, Success Factors, or Callidus preferred.
  • Experience in the telecommunications industry desired.
  • Prefer certification in CSCP.
