We are looking for an SAP Analyst to join our Supply chain team. The ideal candidate should have experience with SAP MM processes and a strong understanding of procurement, inventory management, and material master data. This role will support daily business operations by ensuring efficient procurement processes, maintaining accurate master data, resolving SAP-related issues, and collaborating with business users to improve operational efficiency.
The role focuses on SAP functional support, business process execution, and continuous process improvement rather than software development.
- Support day-to-day procurement and material management activities using SAP MM.
- Create, maintain, and validate material master, vendor master, purchasing information records, and source lists.
- Support the purchase requisition (PR) to purchase order (PO) process.
- Monitor purchase orders, goods receipts (GR), invoice verification (IV), and stock movements.
- Resolve SAP MM-related issues by working closely with business users and IT support teams.
- Support inventory management activities, including stock transfers, inventory adjustments, cycle counting, and physical inventory processes.
- Maintain data accuracy and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Generate, analyze, and distribute SAP reports related to procurement, inventory, and material management.
- Assist with SAP testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), system enhancements, and change requests.
- Prepare and maintain process documentation, work instructions, and user guides.
- Provide functional support and end-user training for SAP MM processes.
- Identify opportunities to improve procurement and inventory processes through SAP best practices.
- Participate in SAP implementation, enhancement, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Mechanical, Automobile, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Good understanding of Materials Management processes, including:
- Procurement
- Purchasing
- Vendor Management
- Inventory Management
- Material Master Data
- Goods Receipt and Invoice Verification
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- 3 to 5yrs of Experience in the SAP modules.
Skills Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Mechanical Engineering, Automobile Engineering, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field
- Experience with SAP modules, particularly SAP MM
