We are looking for a passionate and ambitious IT professional to join a recently formed, purposely built, innovative team – Salesforce Platform and Solutions - whereby you will grow as a Salesforce Tech Lead.
You will be able to combine your proven understanding of the Salesforce Platform and its declarative capabilities, as well as strong Apex & Lightning programming skills, to take ownership for transforming direction from an Architect or Technical Lead into solutions - this includes developing, testing, documenting, and maintaining them.
You will work with the Architects and Engineering Leads, contributing to the design & development of various internal P&G applications and global-scaled solutions, while also participating in the growth and having a real possibility to shape and grow the Development Pillar of the organization.
Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the Salesforce development team, providing technical guidance and support

Design, develop, and deploy scalable Salesforce solutions that align with business objectives

Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and translate them into technical specifications

Oversee the customization, configuration, and integration of Salesforce applications to meet organizational needs
-
Stay updated on Salesforce platform updates, best practices, and emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement
-
Conduct code reviews, ensure code quality, and enforce development standards within the Salesforce team
-
Write high quality source code as needed, depending on project priorities, coaching of others or maintaining technical hands-on capability

Develop technical documents and handbooks to accurately represent application design and code. Maintains documentation per company standards

Evaluates existing applications to reprogram, update and add new features. Resolves user-submitted problems and questions

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions

Mentor and coach team members, fostering a collaborative and innovative development environment

Collaborate with system administrators, business analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and alignment of technical solutions

Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices to recommend and implement enhancements to the Salesforce platform
-
Building applications using SFDX, DevHub and Scratch orgs along with the surrounding CI/CD DevOps toolset

Stakeholder influencing to plan the non-functional items into the roadmap
-
Contribute to Security/Governance processes of applications regarding their technical scope

Identifying and minimizing tech debt

Maintaining proper level of technical documentation
Job Qualifications
-
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
-
Very good knowledge of the platform and its declarative capabilities as well as out-of-the-box functionalities
-
Proven experience as a Salesforce Developer with in-depth knowledge of Apex, Visualforce, Lightning components, and Salesforce configurations
-
Prior experience in a technical leadership role, overseeing Salesforce development projects
-
Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture and integration with third-party applications
-
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
-
Salesforce certifications such as Administrator and Platform Developer I/II, App Builder, or System Architect are highly desirable
-
Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools
-
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a dynamic, fast-paced environment
-
Familiarity with Salesforce Lightning Web Components and visual force
-
Practical experience with DevOps tools for Salesforce as well as Release Management processes including SF DX/SF CLI, Scratch Orgs and packaging
-
A commitment to staying current with industry trends and continuously improving technical skills and learn Architecture style/design for enterprise applications

Familiarity with design patterns, good object-oriented programming practices and Clean Code rules

Fluent English (written and spoken)

Experience with TDD
