Our Salesforce Center of Excellence (CoE) is the centralized team that designs, builds, and runs Salesforce solutions for a wide range of internal and partner-facing teams across Expedia Group. We provide a common platform, standards, and best practices so business and operations teams can rely on Salesforce for their day-to-day work.

As part of this CoE, the Salesforce Engineering team is seeking a seasoned Salesforce Administrator. You'll join a group of administrators, engineers, and architects who work together to keep our Salesforce orgs secure, scalable, and easy to use. In this role you’ll partner closely with product and business stakeholders, design and implement solutions on Sales / Service / Experience Cloud, and help shape how we use Salesforce across Expedia Group. In this role, you will:

  • You will build customized solutions in Salesforce.com and associated systems that support business requirements and processes
  • You will work with groups to understand their business processes and requirements
  • Translate business requirements into logical, component-based technical designs
  • You will define technical solutions to support business work processes
  • Create design and technical specification documentation
  • You will drive resolution of all issues that come up during development phase
  • You will clearly communicate project status to key partners throughout entire development process

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent hands-on experience administering enterprise CRM platforms such as Salesforce.
  • Proven 7+ experience as a Salesforce Administrator managing production environments, including day-to-day platform administration, user support, and system maintenance..
  • Deep expertise in Salesforce configuration, including Flows, custom objects and fields, page layouts, record types, validation rules, approval processes, and reports and dashboards.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce data security and sharing architecture, including organization-wide defaults, role hierarchy, profiles, permission sets, and sharing rules to ensure appropriate data visibility and governance.
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud, including configuration and optimization of lead, opportunity, and case management processes, as well as service workflows and automation.
  • Experience managing deployments across multiple environments (e.g., sandboxes and production) using CI/CD and DevOps tools such as GitHub, Copado, Gearset, or similar platforms.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently, lead requirements gathering sessions, and effectively partner with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Salesforce certifications such as Administrator, Advanced Administrator, Platform Developer I, Sales Cloud Consultant, and/or Service Cloud Consultant.
  • Experience working in a multi-team, enterprise Salesforce environment or Center of Excellence (CoE), with exposure to shared standards, governance frameworks, and structured release management processes.
  • Ability to design scalable Salesforce solutions, with a focus on configuration best practices, data governance, and system hygiene.
  • Experience integrating Salesforce with external enterprise systems using APIs, middleware, or event-based architectures, along with leveraging Salesforce data and analytics to drive business decisions and process improvements.
  • Working knowledge of Apex, SOQL, or Lightning Web Components (LWC) sufficient to collaborate effectively with developers and troubleshoot issues (hands-on development not a primary responsibility).
  • Experience using modern productivity tools (including Gen AI where appropriate) to support Salesforce administration activities and improve efficiency in day-to-day platform operations.
