Job description

The Team:
Hitachi, Ltd. is seeking an experienced Salesforce Business Analyst to join our dynamic team. This role will be responsible for bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions within our Salesforce ecosystem, ensuring optimal platform utilization and driving business value.
Role:
* Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from various stakeholders, translating them into detailed functional specifications for Salesforce implementations and enhancements.
* Conduct gap analysis between current business processes and Salesforce capabilities, identifying opportunities for optimization and improvement.
* Design and recommend effective Salesforce solutions, including configuration, custom objects, workflows, validation rules, and reports/dashboards, aligning with best practices.
* Collaborate closely with Salesforce developers, administrators, and project managers throughout the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC).
* Create and execute test plans, including user acceptance testing (UAT), to ensure solutions meet business requirements and are defect-free.
* Provide training and support to end-users on Salesforce functionalities and new features.
* Act as a subject matter expert for Salesforce, staying updated on new releases and features, and advising on their potential impact and benefits.
* Assist in the creation of user stories, process flows, and other project documentation.
* Facilitate workshops and meetings with stakeholders to elicit requirements and present solutions.
What you'll Bring: **
* Bachelor's degree in business administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
* Minimum of 3+ years of experience as a Salesforce Business Analyst.
* Proven experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and/or Experience Cloud.
* Strong understanding of Salesforce configuration capabilities (e.g., objects, fields, workflows, process builder, validation rules, reports, dashboards).
* Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
* Exceptional communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
* Ability to translate complex technical concepts into easily understandable business terms.
* Salesforce Administrator Certification (ADM 201) is required; additional certifications (e.g., Sales Cloud Consultant, Service Cloud Consultant) are highly preferred.
* Experience with data migration and integration projects is a plus.
* Familiarity with Apex, Visualforce, or Lightning Web Components is advantageous but not required.
