Job Purpose

As a Salesforce B2B Technical Architect, you will lead high-performance, feature-driven development teams within our Commerce Practice to build enterprise-level solutions for global brands. You will act as a critical technical authority during the entire project lifecycle, from initial presales and architectural design to final delivery and escalation management. Your goal is to design scalable B2B Commerce and multi-cloud architectures, translating complex customer needs into robust technical roadmaps that leverage the latest Salesforce innovations to drive digital transformation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guide technical development teams and engineers, providing technical direction, code reviews, and mentorship to ensure high-quality delivery of complex B2B projects.
  • Drive presales activities including RFP responses, effort estimation, technical demos, and client presentations to define requirements and demonstrate B2B Commerce capabilities. 
  • Define and oversee the implementation of scalable solutions, owning the technical vision for Salesforce B2B Commerce and integrated multi-cloud ecosystems. 
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve roadblocks, ensuring technical solutions align strictly with client business objectives and architectural standards.
  • Monitor Salesforce market trends and B2B-specific product updates to provide thought leadership, reusable accelerators, and process optimizations.
  • Professionalize the development process by aligning team execution with specific customer needs and architectural standards.
Qualifications and Skills
  • 10+ years of overall software development experience, with at least 4 years leading Salesforce Core and B2B Commerce (or related Cloud) implementations. 
  • 3+ years of advanced experience with Apex programming, including triggers, controllers, and asynchronous processing.
  • 2+ years of hands-on development experience with Lightning Aura Components or Lightning Web Components (LWC).
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and mentor geographically distributed development teams in a complex, enterprise environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to estimate complex RFP pursuits and document foundational technical assumptions.
  • Strong proficiency with standard Salesforce APIs (REST, Bulk, Streaming) and data migration tools.
  • Deep understanding of the Salesforce SDLC and experience managing geographically distributed teams.
  • Knowledge of object-oriented design, architectural patterns, and modularity principles for complex software projects. 
  • Excellence presentation skills, with the ability to bridge the gap between deep technical logic and business-focused stakeholders.
