Role Overview:

Could you be our next New Business Issuing Specialist? Globe Life is looking for a New Business Issuing Specialist to join the team!

As a New Business Issuing Specialist for Liberty National, you will be responsible for processing life insurance policy applications in accordance with underwriting guidelines and Liberty National standards, and for resolving issues that may prevent policy issuance. The specialist ensures applications are reviewed, worked, and issued in a timely manner. The role requires collaboration with agencies, internal departments, and management to resolve outstanding issues or concerns, as well as completing additional duties as assigned by management.

This is a remote/work-from-home position.

What You Will Do:

  • Process and issue pending insurance policies accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Review and professionally respond to email communications in a timely manner.
  • Update and issue policies promptly after approved changes have been completed.
  • Perform assigned backup and support duties as needed to ensure daily team tasks are completed efficiently. This includes preparing spreadsheets and reports.
  • Work with agencies to ensure applications and accurate, complete and meet all required standards.
  • Research and resolve complex issues in collaboration with management, agencies, and other internal departments.
  • Send copies of policy documents by mail or email upon request.
  • Provide follow-up and status updates to agents and internal teams, as needed to ensure clear communication and timely resolution.
  • Ensure compliance with established guidelines and procedures.
  • Ensure daily production and error rates comply with departmental standards.

What You Can Bring:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 2 years insurance experience.
  • Prior insurance accounting experience required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate with various levels of management on a professional level.
  • Experience with Word, Excel, Outlook, with the ability to learn new computer systems.
  • Ability to be a team player.
  • Ability to be detail-oriented.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet departmental deadline.
  • High degree of accuracy, attention to detail.
