Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 10 years of experience in consulting, corporate development and strategy, program management, or business development with a focus on technology, consumer electronics, smart home, home security, media, or related industries



Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in partner relationship management, including operations, account management, business/product engagement cadence, and analytics/reporting
  • Experience in creating business models to support strategic agreements, operating business plans, and tracking operating performance
  • Experience working with partners in an external-facing role
  • Ability to provide insightful, data-driven, and strategic recommendations to partners and cross-functional stakeholders, including C-level partner executives and internal executives
  • Knowledge of agreement development/facilitation and Google products
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills



About the job

In this this role, you will lead a team that oversees the management of key partnerships and ongoing partner development, including launches and relationship management. You'll anticipate, explore, and uncover the business needs of partners and understand how our portfolio of products, specifically hardware, can grow businesses.

You will oversee a team to launch, manage, and optimize partnerships that will accelerate business goals for the Devices and Services organization. You'll bring knowledge of relevant industries and relationships with stakeholders to help shape the future for products and services. You'll be responsible for enabling products through partnerships, overseeing partner launches, developing the relationship strategy for our portfolio of partners, and deriving insights from the partners and markets the team manages to help inform product decisions.

In addition to managing complex agreements, you will utilize excellent communication and work collaboratively across functions. You'll bring different opinions across Product, Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain, Analytics, Marketing, Operations, Program Management, and other stakeholders together.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee a team of strategic partner managers who serve as the point of contact for strategic partners both internally and externally, supporting day-to-day partnership needs, including creating and managing roadmaps across functional disciplines, troubleshooting issues, and responding to time-sensitive inquiries.
  • Analyze partnership effectiveness and proactively manage tactics to optimize growth and deliver on partner objectives across Product, Marketing, Operations, and Finance.
  • Assist in driving and ensuring successful partnership strategies and launches. Sustain positive relationships, working with Product, Engineering, Analytics, Marketing, Legal, Finance, Operations, and Business Development teams.
  • Provide thought-leadership to internal executives on business, partnership, and product opportunities.
  • Own partner communications, including quarterly business reviews, ensuring agreement deliverables and commitments are met.
