Job Summary

Responsible for providing support to OneAmerica sales representatives and brokers throughout the pre-sale and post-sale processes. This position supports the OneAmerica vision, mission and values by supporting sales initiatives, maintaining relationships with customers and providing assistance to other employees.

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
-Process requests for proposals (RFPs) and sold cases, ensuring necessary documents are in good order
-Collaborate with sales and underwriting teams to provide accurate proposals to our brokers
-Create enrollment materials
-Act as a subject matter expert on products and processes, providing assistance to teammates and stakeholders
-Consistently models OneAmerica's EWA Expectations
-Able to confidently represent EB products and services to sales reps and brokers
-Prioritize workload to ensure service levels are achieved
-Identify process improvement opportunities
-Contribute to departmental projects
-Create and maintain process documentation
-Special assignments and projects as needed

Job Requirements

Required Education and/or Certifications

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Life and Health License



Recommended Education and/or Certifications

  • Bachelors Degree



Required Work Experience

  • 4+ years of Group Life and/or Disability work experience
  • 4+ years in an Operations or Customer Service role
  • Or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background
  • RFPs processed in good order (IGO) and within service level agreement (SLA)
  • Sold cases processed IGO and within SLA



Salary Band: 04A

As a condition of employment, OneAmerica requires that all new hires who receive a job offer on or after April 18, 2022 provide evidence of full or partial vaccination against COVID-19 within three days of accepting an offer letter with OneAmerica and before employment begins. If applicable, new hires must submit proof that they have received the second dose of a two dose COVID-19 vaccine within 30 days after their first dose is complete. This selected candidate will be expected to work hybrid in Indianapolis, IN.The candidate will also be expected to physically return to the office in CA, WI, IN or ME as business needs dictate or for team-building and collaboration.
