What you'll do here:
Sales Prowess
  • Develop and consistently grow a strong empathy for Boulevard's clients
  • Become an expert of Boulevard's products
  • Demonstrate the ability to meet/exceed quotas for your team and develop solid client relationships
  • Take on sales responsibilities with key prospects of all sizes to help your team of Account Executives close deals
  • Share best practices with other team members to level up the overall sales team

Coaching, Training, and People Management
  • Mentor a group of high-performing Account Executives to deliver consistent results
  • Manage the hiring and training process for new team members
  • Coach on AE performance and strategy through weekly 1:1's
  • Celebrate team wins in new and innovative ways
  • Drive efficiency and performance for your Account Executives so they can consistently hit or exceed their quotas

Forecasting, Process, and Reporting
  • Manage your team's pipeline to deliver accurate forecasting and reporting metrics
  • Partner closely with other departments to ensure proper flow of information
  • Report insights and learnings from the field to sales leadership with an eye to consistently improve process
  • Guide the implementation and training of new sales processes for Account Executives

  • You have 2+ years of experience in sales management and/or team leadership
  • You have 5+ years full cycle sales experience selling complex software solutions (Bonus points for payments/fintech-related experience)

  • Have passed Boulevard's platform training, showcasing a broad understanding of our technology & how we work
  • Have a solid understanding of Boulevard's processes, systems, and sales materials
  • Have observed sales demos with various types of customers
  • Truly understand the core strengths and capabilities of the existing sales team
  • Have met your cross-functional teammates in Revenue Ops, Customer Success, R&D, People & Culture, Product, Payments, Finance, and Marketing.

Within 2 months you'll...
  • Have fine-tuned your sales pitch
  • Become a total wizard in Salesforce, Gong, and Outreach
  • Be coaching & mentoring the sellers on your team
  • Start hiring sellers to grow your team
  • Start tracking and reporting on forecasting and other dashboard-related metrics

After 3 months you'll...
  • Develop strategy for your territory
  • Develop quarterly wrap-up reports on your team's performance
  • Assist Director of Sales with projects for increasing sales
  • Begin participating in performance reviews

How do you collaborate with other teams in the company?

Despite being a remote workplace, cross-team collaboration is one of our strengths. Product Managers work in squads with dedicated Engineering, Design, Product Marketing, and Product Ops teammates. Throughout the development lifecycle, we are involving and aligning with CX, Sales, Marketing, Strategy, Data, and Education around all our initiatives.

I have been with Boulevard for 6 months. In that time I have moved from an SDR role to an SDR team lead.
