The Position: We are looking for a Sales Development Specialist in our Jacksonville, FL location!

Purpose of the Position: We're looking for a Sales Development Specialist ! This person is responsible for performing investigative research to qualify prospects (new business opportunities), monitor and report on lead activities; and managing the marketing-to-sales pipeline. Effective utilization of Salesforce and supporting technologies are required.

Responsibilities:

  • Management of sales data, documents, and correspondence in Salesforce
  • Develop and manage activities to ensure the sales pipeline remains full of qualified leads & prospects
  • Work together with Sales VPs to identify new opportunities and work with marketing to further develop and nurture those opportunities
  • Coordinate department activities and projects to meet project timelines
  • Evaluate and improve inside sales and sales administration processes
  • Ensure accurate and complete information is captured in customer relationship management (CRM) system
  • Provide data quality checks weekly
  • Organizational Skills- manage prospect list and record detailed notes
  • Excellent speaking ability and tone
  • Strong product knowledge of the staffing market, Beeline solutions or VMS/MSP solutions
  • Tenacity and the ability to overcome objections related to sales
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Management of sales data, documents, and correspondence in Salesforce


Requirements:

  • Sales experience
  • CRM, preferably Salesforce experience
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly proficient computer skills including email, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Knowledge: B2B technology experience preferred
  • Attend industry conferences, virtually or in person, to network and develop industry expertise
  • Communication- The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Interpersonal Skills- The successful candidate will work with outside prospects as well as various members of the JoinedUp/Beeline team including Marketing and Sales. The ability to work well with other people and contribute to the team is highly important
  • Critical Thinking Skills- The successful candidate will have the ability to gather prospect purchasing intent, qualification, define problems, collect data, establish facts, and inform the Sales VPs
  • Behavioral Skills- The successful candidate will be self-directed, work well alone or in a team structure, highly results oriented, and willing to learn and expand his/her technical knowledge base through formal education, professional training, and self-study
  • Standard Software Skills Required- Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS-Exchange E-mail.)


Desired Competencies:

  • B2B Sales experience at any level
  • Proven track record of using Account-based Marketing (ABM) to inform outreach efforts
  • Ability and desire to drive change through high-energy, can-do attitude, comfortable working in a high-performance, entrepreneurial, open-door environment
  • Must be an outstanding communicator and team player who demonstrates attention to detail, and who also understands how to ensure finance initiatives that support the long-term strategy of the business are met
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work autonomously
