Amplify is seeking part-time Sales Associates across the Clark County School District in Las Vegas to support elementary science efforts. Are you a quick learner who is proficient with technology? If you possess a passion for supporting schools and the ability to drive educators (at all levels) to make the right decision regarding learning outcome choices for students and teachers, then this role is for you!
We are committed to providing essential training prior to deployment for the important work that we do. The person in this role will work directly with the Strategic Account Specialist and President, Strategic Accounts.
***This is a part-time, position with seasonal hours fluctuating from 25 to 35 hours per week. The heaviest commitment is expected from September through May.
Responsibilities:

  • Build awareness of the Amplify brand and products through phone calls, email, and other prospecting outreach activities
  • Collaborate with team leadership to identify and advance new sales opportunities
  • Lead and facilitate sales meetings with school site personnel to support campaigns when deemed safe by state health authorities
  • Assist the Strategic Account Specialist and President, Strategic Accounts with school visits and product drop-offs when deemed safe by state health authorities
  • Develop and manage relationships with key school building decision makers
  • Provide customer feedback and competitive feedback to Sales Leadership
  • Serve as a proficient specialist on Amplify's science products and with the ability to articulate our value proposition effectively to K-12 decision makers
  • Display a solid understanding of the K-12 market, especially in the area of curriculum and assessment adoptions


Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years work experience in K-12 education
  • 1+ years in an educational leadership or coaching role
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to lift and carry sample boxes/bags that may weigh up to 30 lbs.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Public Speaking -experience speaking and presenting to an audience of six plus people
  • Conversational intelligence -ability to ask good questions and listen actively
  • Proven ability to work independently with minimum supervision
  • Experience crafting and delivering short multimedia presentations
