FSI Hybrid Cloud Sales Specialist
Job summary
The Red Hat Financial Services Industry (FSI) Sales team is looking for a FSI focused Hybrid Cloud Sales Specialist to join us. In this role, you will support Red Hat's strategy to promote the sharing and adoption of Red Hat Application Services technology with our largest financial services accounts by enabling customers to define, develop, and deploy their modern middleware strategies. As a Hybrid Cloud Sales Specialist, you will build strategic relationships with executives and key business leaders to promote our portfolio of middleware offerings, including application development, application and service hosting, business rules management, business process management (BPM), content aggregation, data federation, data services, and service integration on-site or in the cloud. Successful applicants must reside in a state where Red Hat is registered to do business.
Primary job responsibilities
- Work with the FSI Sales teams to plan the overall middleware, application, and data services for our customers from their initial adoption of basic application server technology and grow the account to include rules engines, business process management (BPM) platforms, enterprise service buses (ESBs), enterprise messaging, portals, etc.
- Earn the trust of senior IT and business executives within key accounts; create long-term partnerships
- Work with FSI Sales teams to ensure that Red Hat Application Services solutions become the first choice for our strategic customers
Required skills
- 5+ years of experience working in an FSI solutions sales role
- 5+ years of years of experience focused on enterprise middleware like Red Hat Application Services, IBM WebSphere, Oracle WebLogic Server, MuleSoft, TIBCO, and Apigee
- Background in consultative customer engagement with a middleware software provider or on the sales team of a middleware software reseller
- Broad technical experience with enterprise middleware technologies
- Solid written and verbal communication skills; ability to present to executives at large firms
- Ability to sell FSI DX, RTP, and Open Banking solutions in a multiproduct environment
