Enterprise Sales Representative - NBC Sports Next
Responsibilities
NBC Sports Next is growing our team of Enterprise Sales Representatives with additional focuses in the following sports: Volleyball, Football, Lacrosse, Hockey, Baseball, Softball and Soccer. These professionals will bring a diverse background of knowledge in various sports and selling. This team of Enterprise Sales Representatives will be a key driver and resource in developing, managing and executing our enterprise go-to-market strategy for pro sports, governing bodies and large youth sports accounts. The team will work cross-functionally with the inside sales, product development, and marketing teams to develop the sales pipeline and generate sales within our Youth & Recreational Sports division's portfolio of products. This person will own a direct sales book of business and will have an eye on revenue and driving best-in-class opportunities that utilize and bundle assets across the organization to create unique packages and offerings that create value for our Sports prospects and partners.

Enterprise Sales Representative Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate across business functions to develop, establish, and execute the company's Sports enterprise sales strategy.
- Own a direct sales book of business that includes the top one hundred plus Sport specific enterprise prospect accounts (large multi-affiliate youth sports organizations)
- Work directly with prospective customers in-person, via telephone, email, social, and online meetings to create demand and solve challenging customer problems in a consultative way
- Research, qualify, negotiate and close complex deals in an aggressive timeframe
- Senior role including a high level of independent decision making and autonomy to accelerate deal flow and assisting partners
- Expected to own and represent the company message and culture publicly
- Liaise with the product development and marketing teams to ideate and create strategic sales assets inclusive of value prop, sales decks, proposal, and RFP templates
- Generate sales opportunities, prepare and present accurate and comprehensive sales pitches/presentations
- Own, manage and develop deep relationships at the executive level of key clients and prospects
- Maintain accurate daily record of sales activities within SalesForce.
- Identify growth opportunities and strategies to meet company goals.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications/Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in inside/outside sales within a SAAS related business, and a track record as a leader, collaborator, and innovator.
- Strong knowledge of the sports landscape and sport specific to this role
- Consistent track record of sales performance in a consultative sales environment
- Empathetic, solutions oriented and a true passion to service customers
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate clearly and effectively with senior level stakeholders
- Willingness to travel on a semi-regular basis to engage prospects and partners
