The Cisco Meraki team is seeking a Business Development Manager to deliver programs and execute the go-to-market strategy for Meraki’s apps ecosystem. As a member of the Ecosystem Team, you will be responsible for driving sales of Meraki products that are enabled by the apps in the Meraki Marketplace. These apps solve IT challenges for customers by expanding upon the Meraki Dashboard experience, as well as solving challenges for other customer lines of business, outside of IT.
The Ecosystem Business Development Manager is responsible for crafting and executing demand generation programs. You will work with marketing teams, sales teams, channel partners, and most importantly, ecosystem technology partners. Together, you will help customers understand the value of the Meraki Platform by demonstrating how ecosystem apps can be used to solve problems specific to their industry.
Marketplace
Meraki Marketplace is the most expansive collection of apps in the networking industry. These high quality apps solve more business challenges and produce better outcomes for customers when combined with the Meraki Platform. You will help grow our competitive edge by recruiting new apps developed by innovative technology partners, solving for emerging customer use cases. Additionally, you will help to evolve the Meraki Marketplace digital experience, improving app discoverability and tangible lead generation.
Responsibilities
- Innovate Meraki’s Marketplace with updates that improve the experience for our customers
- Seek and acquire new technology partner relationships, prioritize and onboard their apps to Marketplace
- Foster and maintain business relationships with technology partners, crafting joint-GTM sales programs
- Collaborate with product management teams to execute the API roadmap strategy and coordinate early access beta testing with ecosystem partners
- Build and conduct live sales events promoting and educating both customer and partner audiences on the joint solutions available in Marketplace, in order to drive the Meraki business
- Train internal and external sales teams on how to position and sell ecosystem solutions with our technology partners, to ultimately accelerate the adoption of the Meraki platform
Qualifications
- 2-5 years experience in the technology industry
- 5+ years experience in ecosystem and/or solution sales, channel sales, or direct sales roles
- Proven ability to quickly build new relationships, navigate complex organizations and influence multiple partners
- Passion for learning about networking and cloud technologies
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and presentation skills
- Results-oriented, "can do" attitude, ability and willingness to make an impact
