Minimum qualifications:

  • 8 years of experience in Business Development, Strategic Partnerships, and Corporate Strategy
  • Experience managing partners, influencing leaders, and presenting to executives
  • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives or projects



Preferred qualifications:

  • Excellent communication skills, with proven experience working effectively across all levels (e.g., senior executives, managers, peers)
  • Ability to quickly become immersed in a variety of industries and partner dynamics to provide strategic input and leadership to help drive cross product area agreements
  • Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in a large, matrixed organization
  • Excellent relationship building skills, with the ability to inspire trust and influence outcomes
  • Proactive, results-driven, and highly collaborative with outstanding organization and project management skills

Partnerships Solutions is comprised of deep industry experts and cross-Google Partner Managers across News and Publishing, Media and Entertainment, Gaming/Social, Telecoms, Auto, Finance, Travel, and Commerce that partner with multiple global business, partnerships, and product teams.

In this role, you will provide dedicated "One Google" support to our global Priority Partners. You will create transformative/innovative ideas and rally cross-functional teams towards opportunities. You will drive agreements and lead strategic initiatives (e.g., industry strategy alignment, cross-functional joint business plans, and key industry initiatives/programs). You will enable teams via cross-functional industry narratives, best practice sharing communities, and newsletters. Additionally, you will engage with ecosystems and bring the best of Google to solve industry challenges.

We collaborate across Google, ensuring a coordinated approach when engaging with our most complex and strategic partners.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze industry-level cross product area opportunities and develop assessment on partnerships solutions expanding into new industries
  • Develop deep understanding of partners' cross-Google activities/opportunities
  • Collaborate across product areas and draft Google engagement plans to identify new opportunities for partners
  • Map partner business priorities to Google product areas, and identify forward-looking opportunities
  • Lead all operations for partners (e.g., executive briefings, reporting, communications)
