We are looking for someone with a passion for and proven experience in training, teaching, and coaching sales professionals of all experience levels, from new-to-role sellers to seasoned sales managers. You will be responsible for delivering world-class virtual, in-person and hybrid sales training and readiness programs that help build our sellers’ skills and knowledge for maximum productivity and to drive sales success. 

This critical role requires best-in-class facilitation & presentation skills, deep expertise in learning & development, and experience in providing innovative sales enablement solutions. You will report to the Head of Sales Readiness.

Your Impact 

  • Successfully deliver in-person, virtual and hybrid sales training and readiness programs to ensure the sales team is equipped with content, resources, and tools to effectively differentiate and sell Palo Alto Networks’ solutions

  • Leverage your customer-facing experience to share stories and examples from customer interactions to build credibility with learners and illustrate key points.

  • Provide feedback to learners to aid with knowledge transfer and behavior change.

  • Manage the classroom experience including tracking attendance, addressing engagement, participation and documenting performance, both strengths and development needs for participants.

  • Leverage learning tools such as Kahoot, the whiteboard, polling and Breakout Rooms to encourage more interactivity and engagement in virtual workshops.

  • Determine opportunities for improving the sales learning experience and identify techniques for delivery

  • Develop content for the refinement and improvement of course curricula

  • Coach learners on specific skills within a role and help them reach their next development level 

Qualifications

  • Experience in a sales readiness/enablement facilitator role OR in a direct selling role (SDR, AE, etc)

  • Experience with a sales methodology (e.g. Command of the Message, Challenger, Sandler) and understanding of MEDDPICC Qualification Criteria

  • Knowledge of adult learning best practices

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively

  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, unpredictable environment.

  • Experienced in creating hand-outs that learners can use post-training in their day-to-day job to reinforce knowledge and behavior.

  • Stays up to date with training industry best practices and willing to try new ideas.
