Position Title: Channel Sales Manager

Position Location: Remote

The Channel Sales Manager is responsible for lead generation related to partner industry priorities and initiatives. This person will work with the Alliances team to prospect into the partner target account lists for leads that fit the ideal industry profiles. This person will also promote partner field readiness and effectiveness around joint offerings while coordinating access to sales materials with the Alliances team, Marketing and Product Management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify partner target accounts
  • Generate stage 1 and 2 partner leads for handover to Sales
  • Recommend sales enablement and business development initiatives to support lead generation
  • Coordinate with the Partner Alliances contacts to support partner sales enablement
  • Facilitate discussions with NORAM sales and partner contacts to support lead generation and funnel advancement



Key Activities :

  • Maintain the master target account list for priority partners
  • Support account planning sessions with priority partners
  • Track status in Salesforce report regularly on all partner targets and stage 1 opportunities
  • Follow up regularly with Sales and Alliances teams to ensure progress on opportunities
  • Identify and support new business development activities to ensure industry goals are met
  • Maintain awareness of product updates to recommend improved partner joint offerings
  • Ensure partner sales teams have access to the appropriate sales materials
  • Maintain sales statistics by partner for repeatability and partner success ratings



Skills and Requirements:

  • Must have 5+ years of successful complex sales, channel and business development experience at enterprise software application organizations
  • Business development, sales, and/or alliances experience
  • Must have strong business acumen and capability to develop and managing strategic plans with partner and company executives
  • Experience with Customer Communication Management (CCM) or Customer Experience (CX) solutions highly preferred
  • Must demonstrate excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
  • Must be results oriented, have high integrity, and a desire to be part of a world-class, rapidly expanding technology company
  • 20% to 50% travel
