Willis Towers Watson CAC, Inc. seeks Account Executive (Miami, FL) to be responsible for providing overall strategic direction in order to grow the FINEX (Financial and Executive) division's business portfolio including the following regions: Dominican Republic, Guatemala, Honduras, Panama, Nicaragua, Venezuela, Puerto Rico, Trinidad & Tobago, and Belize. Will share responsibility with a Senior Broker, for the following regions: Peru, El Salvador, Bahamas, and the Cayman Islands.

The Role

Duties will include:

• Responsible for broking activities for all financial lines reinsurance clients within the Central America & Caribbean region, with a key focus on generating new business for his division, including retaining/further developing his assigned book of business.
• Responsible for the analysis, review, adjustment and settlement of all Financial Lines reinsurances business claims in the Director & Officers liability, employment practices, Mergers & Acquisitions, warranty indemnity, professional indemnity, and cyber risk & security insurances sectors for primarily Latin American and Caribbean-based clients, namely insurance companies, in the FINEX (Financial and Executive) services business sector.
• Advise high-level clients on reinsurance purchasing strategies, negotiates and places reinsurance, directs and coordinates underwriting and brokering activities, and proposes innovative reinsurance programs to meet the client company's business needs, including representing our company before senior level managers of client companies and advise them of cost expectations, coverage availability and market information on a regular basis.
• Exercise matrix authority over a back-office accounting team in Argentina, internal WTW cyber insurance experts, the Cyber Liability team, and Loss Control Groups to service his accounts. (no direct reports).
• Work in conjunction with 1 Broker in Venezuela, 2 Account Executives in Peru, and 3 Brokers in London in order to manage the day-to-day activities needed in servicing his client accounts. (no direct reports).
• Responsible for client relationship and service delivery at the insurance program level, overseeing the coordination of insurance service and placement, in order to meet his clients' specific insurance and risk management needs.
• Ensure client satisfaction through proactively addressing any issues, including claims and manage the definition of strategic planning and consulting advice to clients, supervising insurance and risk management needs, in order to recommend appropriate solutions throughout the policy term (including acquisition due diligence).
• Direct the identification, engagement and integration delivery of all WTW internal resources to deliver on the client experience, supervising the building and development of market relationships, in collaboration with broking and sales. Responsible for the design and delivery of full client presentations/proposals, client advocacy reports, client service plans and schedules, ensuring that they are within Willis Group policy requirements (legal, regulatory & compliance) guidelines.

The Requirements

• Must have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Economics, Insurance or a related field and 5 years of experience in financial lines and claims handling in the insurance industry in Latin America.
• Must have at least 5 years of experience with: managing and overseeing broking activities for all financial lines reinsurance clients within the Central America and Caribbean region;
• Managing the development and implementation of critical reinsurance activities for major insurance company's clientele throughout Latin America and the Caribbean regions
• Generating new business including retaining/further developing assigned book of business
• Directing analysis, review, adjustment and settlement of all financial lines reinsurance business claims for Latin America-based clients in at least three (3) of the following sectors: direct & officer liability, employment practices liability, mergers & acquisitions, professional indemnity, cyber risk, bankers blanket bond, commercial crime and/or security insurance sectors
• Advising high level clients on reinsurance purchasing strategies; coordinating brokering activities; proposing innovative programs to meet the client company's business needs; speaking as an expert and considering local regulation at in-country large setting public speaking engagements in Latin America. 15-20% International travel required.
