Big Red Rooster (a JLL Company) is seeking a highly motivated Account Coordinator to join our team in Columbus, OH.

Summary

We're looking for a strategic thinker to join our Client Service team. Working under the guidance of the Account Manager, plans project details and follows through on day-to-day activities with creative team and client(s) as needed to ensure successful completion within given deadlines. Deeply understands the client's business strategy, identifying growth opportunities as appropriate. The ideal candidate is driven to learn and grow and flexible with responsibilities due to the nature of the business growth and adaptive to change.

Responsibilities

  • Well versed in our client's business, strategy, products, goals, and brand guidelines in order to deliver the highest quality of work
  • Project Management:
    • Develops and executes project work plans and revisions as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements
    • Facilitates the flow of information on all phases of the project to ensure internal requirements and proper approvals are met
    • Performs internal initiation tasks on all new projects
    • Manages multiple projects simultaneously by creating and implementing project schedules and meeting required deadlines
    • Understands each project scope, milestone dates, status and resource allocation
    • Supports account manager on multiple projects
  • Acts as a critical liaison and thought partner to the internal strategy and creative team members, initiating and participating in collaborative work sessions frequently
  • Develops trust with team and client members by providing a deep understanding of business, consistent eye for detail and sound judgment
  • Partners with strategy leads to support strategic client work as needed inclusive of secondary research, trend analysis and primary consumer research activities
  • Conducts competitive analysis and brand reviews using a mix of secondary sources, digital audits and in-store audits.
  • Troubleshoots and assists in the resolution of problems
  • Elicits cooperation from a senior manager when appropriate and when needed
  • Reviews copy, layouts and proofs for accuracy against clients requests prior to sending to client
  • Executes and reinforces client service and strategy best practices across accounts
  • Learns and helps manage digital collaboration tools and project management software including data input, reporting, day-to-day reviews with location and extension to other offices if needed
  • Attends client meetings as needed to obtain information and provide meeting recaps
    • Coordinates and schedules appropriate teams for internal briefing to ensure accurate agency direction and collecting consolidated questions, follow-up notes, and scheduling for client review
  • Keeps manager and client informed of project status, including maintaining client status reports
  • Assist in other areas of the business as needed


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in marketing, advertising, public relations, business or related field. Master's degree a plus
  • Internship experience in a project management or account management capacity is a plus
  • Solid understanding of project management methodology
  • Good verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills; written communications/email etiquette is a MUST due to many non-local clients
  • Ability to resolve conflicting situations
  • Effective problems solving skills
  • Must be detail oriented
  • Must have exceptional organization skills
  • Must be able to multi task and prioritize
  • Thrives at building relationships and understanding how to adapt to different personalities
  • Excellent listening skills
  • Ability to be calm and flexible during times of change
  • Must be excellent with Microsoft Office and able to use Macintosh operating systems
  • Capable of working independently and/or with team; being a small agency must be open to wearing multiple hats outside of job role
  • Must be able to manage client relationships effectively
  • Must be a team player, working closely with creative team, production, visual merchandisers, and third party vendors
