Team Overview
The Colombia Sales organization leads commercial growth across Financial Services, Insurance, Fintech, Telecommunications, Government, and other strategic industry segments. The team works across Product, Analytics, Technology, Operations, Marketing, and Finance to connect customer priorities with TransUnion capabilities and deliver sustainable revenue growth. This role reports to the LATAM Chief Revenue Officer and leads the country’s multi-vertical commercial organization through senior sales leaders. This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.Role Overview And Core Responsibilities
- Own Colombia’s commercial performance across assigned industry segments, protecting the existing revenue base while delivering sustainable organic growth
- Define and execute the country’s short-, medium-, and long-term sales strategy in alignment with local, regional, and enterprise priorities.
- Build an integrated growth plan across retention, pricing, cross-sell, upsell, market-share expansion, new solutions, and new-customer acquisition.
- Lead value-based business development and executive relationships with existing and prospective customers, including sponsorship of complex, high-value opportunities and strategic renewals.
- Lead, coach, and hold senior sales leaders and their teams accountable for revenue, pipeline, forecast accuracy, customer coverage, productivity, and strategic execution
- Establish a rigorous commercial operating rhythm through pipeline reviews, forecasting, account planning, opportunity inspection, performance management, and disciplined follow-through.
- Partner with Product, Marketing, Operations, Analytics, Technology, and Finance to develop segment priorities, strengthen the value proposition, and execute integrated go-to-market plans.
- Own the commercial forecast, maintain appropriate pipeline coverage, and translate performance gaps, risks, and opportunities into measurable recovery or growth actions.
- Build an inclusive, accountable, and high-performing sales organization with strong succession planning, talent development, leadership standards, and cross-functional collaboration.
Required Knowledge And Experiences
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field.
- At least 15 years of progressive commercial leadership experience in complex business-to-business environments, including direct responsibility for revenue, sales teams, strategic accounts, and growth execution
- Significant experience defining and executing sales strategies in Colombia, with a record of protecting and growing revenue, strengthening pipeline quality and forecast accuracy, expanding strategic accounts, and acquiring new customers.
- Demonstrated experience leading senior sales leaders and multi-layer commercial organizations across distinct industry verticals.
- Professional fluency in Spanish and English, with the ability to influence and deliver results across local, regional, and global stakeholder groups
- Advanced capability in value-based selling, strategic account management, go-to-market design, pricing, negotiation, and commercial performance management.
- Strong strategic, analytical, and financial acumen for evaluating revenue performance, market opportunities, pricing decisions, investments, and commercial risk.
- Demonstrated ability to manage commercial forecasting, pipeline quality, account planning, and opportunity inspection processes.
- MBA or another relevant advanced degree.
- Commercial leadership experience in financial services, technology, data and analytics, software, or related sectors.
- Executive presence and strong influencing, negotiation, and relationship-management capabilities.
- Experience representing an organization at industry events, strategic customer engagements, and executive forums.
- Ability to integrate customer, market, product, financial, and operational perspectives when making commercial decisions.
