The PositionRoche Diagnostics Belgium is looking for an enthusiastic Sales Specialist to drive revenue for the Roche Core Lab Solutions portfolio in Brussels and Wallonia by understanding client needs, promoting products or services, and closing deals. This role requires collaboration with various teams within the organization to develop and implement sales strategies using both traditional and digital channels. Your impact
You will be responsible for a specific region of French speaking customers in Belgium, focusing on the Roche Core Lab Solutions portfolio as an expert. Your main tasks include:
Developing and strengthening the existing client portfolio, as well as acquiring new clients.
Supporting the launch of new products and solutions in the market by building solid relationships with various stakeholders.
Providing comprehensive support to customers on scientific, technical, applicative, and commercial levels to ensure continuous and efficient service.
Collaborating with Key Account Managers and the Product & Marketing Managers to implement the defined strategy in your region.
Gaining new business opportunities through events, marketing campaigns, and networking.
Handling customer complaints and resolving conflicts effectively.
Who you are
The minimum qualifications required to be successful in the role are:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Science (biomedical, chemical, biotechnology, biology, etc.) or equivalent experience.
Several years of experience in clinical labs or life sciences.
Track record of success in sales positions, ideally in medtech or diagnostics, with a demonstration of solid sales records, strategic acumen, and major achievements. Ideally with 3 up to 5 years of sales or commercial experience.
Strong understanding of scientific principles related to our domain.
Knowledge of core lab diagnostics is a plus, but eagerness to learn is even more important.
Excellent communication skills, market awareness, customer and patient focus, and the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
Excellent understanding and application of consultative selling skills, focusing on bringing perspectives beyond the product.
A set of attitudes supporting an agile working environment, including respect, collaboration, commitment to continuous improvement, pride in ownership, focus on delivering value, adaptability to change, and flexibility.
Positive "doer" attitude with prompt decision-making abilities.
Dynamic, high-energy, self-starting individual who inspires teams through natural leadership and passion.
Proficient with digital tools, including Google Workspace and CRM platforms.
Proficient in French and English; the willingness to learn Dutch is a strong plus.
