The Role

As a Sales Representative, you will play a key role in driving market growth and expanding our customer base. You will develop expertise across our entire product range, beginning with "The Goods," which provides on-demand, affordable supplies to shops. You will then expand to our other offers, such as our online ordering platform and register product. By becoming well-versed in our offerings, you will be able to make informed, strategic recommendations tailored to each customer's needs. Your success in this role will hinge on your ability to ask insightful questions and manage objections effectively.

You will primarily be traveling around your territory to meet with owners in person, while also spending time on the phone scheduling appointments and increasing touch-points with owners. This is a high-velocity, strategic sales role with lots of daily touch-points to different shops to achieve targets.

The Team

You will report directly to our Head of Sales and collaborate closely with a dedicated team focused on your territory, working together to achieve shared goals and drive market success.

The Winning Recipe 

We are looking for a confident, consultative Salesperson who is excited about engaging and building relationships with local pizzeria & restaurant owners. These are the core competencies this role calls for:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • 2-4 years of selling experience 
  • Excellent communication skills; effectively leads pitches and presentations and is comfortable both on the phone and in person
  • A self-motivated hustler who thrives in an ever-changing, fast-paced startup environment and is willing to contribute wherever necessary as plans and priorities change
  • A go-getter who is coachable, adaptable, internally motivated, and resilient
  • Customer-centric attitude; ability to be consultative, problem-solve and cater pitches to address owner specific pain points in real time
  • A valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the central CT area and work face-to-face with a variety of stakeholders and partners

Salary Range: $70-85k OTE+ benefits

The Hiring Process
