As a member of the Endoscopy team, the Sales Representative has responsibility for maintains and develops Endoscopy business with existing and new customers in line with the Regional Sales Manager and business guidelines in the defined sales territory while meeting or exceeding financial and non-financial targets, in a way that enhances Medtronic’s reputation in the market.Together, we can change healthcare worldwide. Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
- Promote and sell Medtronic’s products and services within the assigned geographic area and/or specific customer accounts to meet or exceed sales targets
- Performs all activities to maximize sales (in line with the sales strategy) from product introduction and presentation to contract negotiation.
- Responsible for developing, building, and strengthening long-term relationships with stakeholders.
- Further increases penetration in existing accounts, develops existing accounts into potential new product therapies/patient therapies and develops actual non-buying accounts.
- Builds – together with regional and business manager – strong and lasting business relationships with key opinion leaders and key decision makers influential in the purchasing process.
- Identifies, prepares and executes upcoming tenders
- Carries out all administrative duties and all necessary reports in a timely and diligent manner, (i.e. sales force, customer reports, stock reports, monthly reports, forecasting, etc.).
Required Knowledge and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Life science, engineering or another relevant degree
- At least 8 years selling experience in a sales role in medical device industry,
- Knowledge of the local market
- Knowledge of the decision making process with customers (economic buyer, reimbursement)
- Tender management
- Fluency in Spanish and English
- Advanced presentation and negotiation skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work with a minimum of supervision.
- Team oriented.
- Sales Force or similar competencies.
- Full clean driver license.
