The Sales Operations Specialist I will provide lead management administration, lead generation, and conduct business development activities as part of our Industrial Sales Team. This bilingual role will have exposure to multiple functional teams within Donaldson Latin America and United States and offers a great entry-level opportunity to someone who desires to make a tangible sales impact. The role will interact on a daily basis with Sales Operations, field-based sales representatives (Latin America and United States) and Latin America Marketing to manage and drive lead-gen activities for the equipment business. The Specialist serves on a growing international team and is ideal for someone with an outgoing personality, strong communication skills, customer-centric mindset and who is comfortable collaborating with a variety of teams.
Role Responsibilities:
- Manage and traffic inbound and outbound leads from various marketing and sales activities across international geographies and sales functions.
- Establish, maintain, and optimize scalable lead management processes to ensure best practices in campaign and lead management.
- Leverage data and analytics to identify opportunities for improved customer access at market and territory level to support profitable revenue growth.
- Work with Sales to prepare strategic plans to identify potential incremental opportunities for the business.
- Responsible for deploying sales enablement material and communications through close collaboration with Marketing to generate new content.
- Discover creative ways to leverage technology, research, cold calling, social media platforms to connect with potential customers and prospects to cultivate new leads.
- Manage, nurture, and follow up on leads developed through the company website, marketing campaigns, SEO/SEM, tradeshow activity, and other methods.
- Become well-versed with our Industrial Air Filtration solution offerings, buyer personas and reaches out to prospects to provide information about Donaldson’s value proposition to engage potential customers.
- Champion usage of sales systems & quote tools; process development, communication, training, adoption/utilization, maintenance.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 2+ years of sales support experience.
- Fluent in Spanish and English - written and verbal.
- High School diploma.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple responsibilities.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
- Previous experience using customer relationship management (CRM) or sales/marketing automation technology platform.
