As a Sales Manager, responsibilities include:

·        Building a professional sales team under the Regional and Branch Manager’s supervision in today’s ever evolving mortgage lending environment.

·        Motivating team members to reach production goals.

·        Helping mortgage loan officers structure loans to best suit the needs of our borrowers/clients.

·        Effectively market Wintrust Mortgage in the Twin Cities community.

·        Ensure that the team follows all compliance and regulatory guidelines.

·        Assist with training new hires.

·        Use interpersonal and communication skills to generate referral business, leads, and relationships with referral sources, existing clients, past clients and Real Estate professionals.

·        Participate in training for marketing, sales, systems, products, and structuring loans to effectively sell, package and close consumer mortgages.

·        Analyze loan applications to determine viability of the client’s desired loan program.

·        Analyze and validate credit to borrower’s statement.

·        Inform applicants of the benefits and risks of the loan products they qualify for.

·        Effectively communicate the terms of each loan product to the applicant.

·        Collaborate at a high level with processing, underwriting and closing to ensure the best customer experience. Understand the principles of internal customers and external customers.


Job Requirements:

·        High School or equivalent degree.

·        Must meet all NMLS requirements.

·        Must have superior interpersonal, organizational, communication (both written and oral), and telephone etiquette skills.

·        Must be a self-starter, motivated, energetic, with excellent time-management skills.

·        Minimum of 3 years mortgage banking experience.

·        Encompass LOS experience preferred.

  

Compensation:

Compensation includes monthly commissions on personal production, and overrides on their team’s production. Recruiting expenses reimbursable by Wintrust Mortgage. Actual pay rate may vary based on several factors, such as a candidate’s location, qualifications, skills, and experience.
