Job Purpose
BorgWarner PowerDrive Systems, one of Business Units of BorgWarner Inc., is currently looking for a “dynamic, results driven” individual to join as a Sales Manager or Sr. Sales Account Manager in Japan. Under direct supervision of SE Asia Sales Director located in South Korea, the role will be primarily responsible for Sustainable and Profitable Business Growth in Japan. Key responsibilities
Build Strategic Customer Relationships and Business Pipeline
- Develop and strengthen executive & working-level relationships with key Japan OEMs
- Establish BorgWarner as a recognized and preferred technology partner through regular customer engagements and technical discussions working together with BorgWarner engineering teams
- Create and maintain a robust opportunity pipeline by identifying future vehicle programs and sourcing activities.
Develop Market Presence and Brand Recognition
- Increase BorgWarner's visibility and credibility within the Japan automotive industry.
- Represent BorgWarner at customer events, industry conferences, exhibitions, and technical forums.
- Identify strategic partnerships and networking opportunities to expand market access and customer engagement.
- Act as the primary market ambassador for BorgWarner in Japan
Create and Execute New Business Acquisition Strategy
- Develop and implement a structured strategy to secure major electrification business awards with Japan OEMs.
