Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct and Channel Sales: Manage the entire sales process from lead generation to revenue closure for both direct and indirect sales channels.
  • Account Strategies: Develop and implement account-specific strategies to meet or surpass sales targets.
  • Project Management: Utilize Salesforce (SFDC) for managing projects from lead generation to revenue generation.
  • Market Analysis: Stay abreast of market trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decisions.
  • Business Development: Drive the development of new business opportunities and increase strategic partnerships.
  • Technical Support: Be the first point of contact for configurations or compatibility questions for installed base upgrades and service contracts.
  • Service Contracts: Responsible for renewing service contracts for existing and future installed bases to increase service margins in South Korea.
  • Distributor Management: Supervise and manage local distributors to drive business and achieve pre-set sales targets for the Korean market. to provide training and support to distributors/dealers to enhance their sales performance.
  • Territorial Analysis: Perform territorial analysis to identify prospective clients for the CyberKnife & TomoTherapy System and develop related business plans.
  • Forecasting and Budgeting: Execute forecasting and budgeting responsibilities associated with territorial activities and sales objectives.
  • Quota Achievement: Contribute to the organization's growth by consistently achieving quotas and growing market share.
  • Communication: Maintain open and timely communication with sales management regarding sales leads, market challenges, competitive activity, and other relevant issues.
  • Strategic Planning: Provide leadership in developing national strategic and tactical plans to achieve Accuray’s business objectives.
  • Representation: Represent Accuray at national exhibitions and annual meetings of various medical specialties.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years in sales management, including both direct and indirect selling in the medical device industry.
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience dealing with capital medical device business in the healthcare industry, with a preference for Radiation Therapy business.
  • Sales Background: Strong background in sales within the medical equipment field, preferably therapeutic equipment.
  • Educational Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in bio-medical engineering or medicine
  • Skills:
    • Advanced sales techniques and negotiation skills.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
    • Proficiency in CRM systems like Salesforce (SFDC).
    • Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.

Additional Requirements:

  • Willingness to travel as needed.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
