The Role

Job Description

The Position:

This position will lead our sales representatives and manage key accounts. This role is integral in driving sales growth, ensuring our products remain the preferred choice for healthcare professionals, and fostering strong relationships with our key accounts.

Responsibilities:

Team Leadership & Supervision:

  • Lead, mentor, and coach a team of sales representatives to achieve sales targets.
  • Conduct regular team meetings to review performance, set goals, and address challenges.
  • Provide ongoing training and support to sales representatives, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge.

Key Account Management:

  • Cultivate and maintain strong engagement &relationships with key decision-makers within assigned accounts.
  • Develop and implement strategies to expand our product's presence within these accounts.
  • Address any challenges or concerns that arise, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Skilfully negotiate and close contracts, optimizing company profits while meeting customer needs. Align sales goals with customer expectations, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.
     

Sales Strategy & Execution:

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Monitor sales metrics and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align sales strategies with marketing initiatives.

Market Intelligence:

  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor products, and market conditions.
  • Provide feedback to the internal team on market trends, unmet needs, and opportunities to deliver greater value to customers.

Data Analysis:

  • Regularly report on team and individual performance, market trends, and sales forecasts to senior management.
  • Analyse sales data to identify opportunities for growth and areas of improvement.

Digital Strategy Integration:

  • Leverage digital tools and platforms to enhance sales strategies and customer engagement.
  • Collaborate with the digital marketing team to optimize online campaigns targeting.

Required Education, Experience, and Skills   

  • Experience : 3- 5 years’ experience in similar roles, preferable from the Pharma industry.
  • Pharmaceutical sales expertise: Proven track record in pharmaceutical field sales (Rx, or specialty pharma), ideally within both Czech and Slovak markets.
  • Territory management: Strong knowledge of the healthcare landscapes in CZ and SK (regional structures, HCPs, KOLs, pharmacy chains, wholesalers).
  • Sales planning & execution: Experience developing and implementing territory plans, KPIs, and call targets.
  • People management: Ability to lead, coach, and motivate an experienced sales team .
  • Performance management: Experience with setting goals, evaluating performance.
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Strong coordination with marketing, market access, regulatory, and medical departments.
  • Business development: Ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities and drive revenue growth.
  • Fluent Czech and/or Slovak: Essential for local communication.
  • English proficiency: excellent English - often required for internal communication or international coordination.
  • Excellent communication & negotiation skills: Confident presenter and deal closer.
  • Client relationship management: Strong interpersonal skills to maintain and grow client accounts.
  • Team collaboration: Ability to work cross-functionally and lead or mentor a sales team.
  • Data-driven mindset: Comfortable using CRM systems, sales analytics, and reporting tools.
  • Autonomous work ethic: Self-driven and proactive, especially if working across two countries.
  • Willingness to travel: Between Czech Republic and Slovakia.
