The Opportunity: Sales Manager – Benelux (Agriculture)

To strengthen our position in the Benelux agricultural market, we are looking for a Sales Manager with expertise in used agricultural machinery. This role is ideal for someone with experience in the agriculture equipment business, a strong existing network, and a hunger to grow.

As Sales Manager, you will offer tailored solutions to prospects and customers for selling used agricultural equipment principally by unreserved auction. You’ll act as a trusted advisor, using market data and pricing insights to guide clients toward the best disposition strategy—whether through auction but also Marketplace-E (Negotiated Sale), or listing. Your understanding of machinery value, condition, and pricing will be key to your success.

You’ll build long-term relationships, understand customer needs, and adapt solutions to create recurring business. Your goal-oriented mindset and collaborative spirit will help you thrive in a fast-paced, team-driven environment.

You Will Be Accountable For:

  • Selling multi-channel solutions within the assigned agricultural territory
  • Identifying geographic areas and sectors with growth potential
  • Growing sales through new business development and recurring customer relationships
  • Developing strategic plans to secure potential customers
  • Maintaining and updating your Playbook regularly
  • Coordinating with the “Win Team” to ensure seamless execution of sales, including support from operations, administration, valuations, and field marketing

  • Deep understanding of agricultural machinery, including valuation, pricing, and condition assessment
  • Proven ability to create recurring customers by adapting solutions to their needs
  • Approximately 5 years of experience in the used ag machinery business
  • Existing network in the Dutch agricultural sector
  • Fluency in Dutch and professional-level English
  • Consistent track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Goal-oriented “to-do” mentality and a collaborative, team-player attitude
