About the Role

We are hiring for our partner, a rapidly expanding agricultural business, seeking a results-oriented and commercially focused Sales Executive with proven experience in the animal feed industry. The role focuses on driving commercial growth and market penetration by building strong customer relationships, increasing market share, and leading business development efforts across complete feeds. You will thrive in a fast-paced environment where initiative, ownership, and delivering measurable results are key to success.

NB: This role is ideal if you have a business-focused sales background rather than technical sales experience.


Requirements

What You Will Do

Business Development & Market Expansion
  • Identify and engage high-quality leads to generate consistent sales opportunities.

  • Develop and implement targeted strategies to achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.

  • Conduct market research to understand customer needs, competitive dynamics, and pricing trends.

Customer Relationship Management
  • Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with distributors, agents, and key customers.

  • Provide tailored product information and solutions to meet client requirements.

  • Manage client communications and ensure timely responses and follow-ups.

Sales Strategy & Reporting
  • Maintain a structured sales pipeline and track progress using CRM tools.

  • Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance insights to management.

  • Use data and customer feedback to refine sales approaches and improve conversion rates.

Industry Knowledge & Market Intelligence

  • Stay informed about market developments, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities.

  • Gather insights on distribution networks and agency operations to guide strategic decisions.

  • Represent the company at trade fairs, exhibitions, and networking events to enhance visibility.

Collaboration & Execution

  • Work closely with marketing and technical teams to align sales activities with business objectives.

  • Contribute to promotional campaigns and client engagement initiatives.

  • Share field insights to support product positioning and business planning.


Must-haves
  • A Business Related bachelor's degree or diploma.


  • At least four years proven experience in animal feed sales.

  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to turn market insights into actionable strategies.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

  • Proficiency in CRM systems and sales reporting tools.

  • A self-starter mindset with the ability to work independently and deliver measurable results.
