Our client, a reputable lubricant manufacturing company, is seeking a dynamic and technically skilled Sales Engineer to promote and sell automotive, industrial, and specialty lubricants. The ideal candidate will provide expert technical support, understand customer requirements, and offer tailored lubricant solutions through a consultative sales approach. This role is key to building strong client relationships and driving sustainable business growth.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage customer relationships with industrial clients, OEMs, distributors,
and workshops.
- Identify customer needs and recommend suitable lubricant solutions based on
technical specifications and application requirements.
- Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and training sessions for customers
and internal teams.
- Prepare and deliver sales proposals, quotations, and technical documents to clients.
- Meet and exceed assigned sales targets and KPIs.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies to adapt sales
tactics.
- Provide after-sales support, handle technical queries, and troubleshoot issues related
to product performance.
- Collaborate with the R&D, production, and marketing teams to align customer
feedback with product development.
- Maintain CRM records, sales reports, and customer visit logs accurately and timely.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in B2B technical sales, preferably in the lubricants,
petrochemicals, or industrial sector.
- Strong understanding of lubrication technology and its applications in various
industries.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proven ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
- Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned region.
- Certification in lubrication engineering or trilogy is an added advantage.
- Experience working with OEMs or large industrial clients.
- Multilingual skills depending on the region (e.g., English, Arabic, French, etc.).
