What You'll Do
In this role, you'll partner with sales to develop and maintain consultative, long-term relationships with customers and advise them on all aspects of evolving technologies that could address their business problems. You will:
- Collaborate with prospective and existing customers, sales teams and vendors to assess and gather information on customer technology needs.
- Partner with sales, network operations and engineering to develop proposals and verify solution feasibility and network availability.
- Serve as a technical advisor in product development, providing insights to support the sales team's understanding of new products.
- Conduct vendor meetings, site surveys and coordinate technical resources for complex sales proposals and presentations.
- Provide advanced technical guidance to customers, other members of the sales team and project managers to ensure smooth solution implementations and migrations.
- Attend industry training to stay current on Cox Business and competitor solutions.
- Partner with sales to develop accurate proposals, technical specifications and RFP responses, ensuring technical integrity.
- Coach junior sales engineers on the team and provide guidance.
Who You Are
You're well-versed in B2B technology solutions and are eager to reach subject-matter-expert status and share your knowledge with others. Here's what else you have to offer:
Minimum:
- A bachelor's degree with 2 years of experience in a related field, or 4 years of technology solutions experience.
- A valid driver's license, good driving record and reliable transportation.
- Excellent relationship building, written communication and presentation skills.
- Adaptable and invested in continuous personal development.
- Experience using Windows-based PCs, Microsoft Office and a CRM.
Preferred:
- 3 years of telecommunications experience.
- Salesforce CRM experience.
- Completed certifications of the Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) and Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) programs.
- Certifications in cloud managed technology (DaaS, IaaS, Virtualization).

USD 74,500.00 - 111,700.00 per year
Compensation:
Compensation includes a base salary of $74,500.00 - $111,700.00. The salary rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's experience. In addition to the salary range identified herein, this role is also eligible for an annual incentive/commission target of $22,875.00.

The Company offers eligible employees the flexibility to take as much vacation with pay as they deem consistent with their duties, the company's needs, and its obligations; seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year; and up to 160 hours of paid wellness annually for their own wellness or that of family members. Employees are also eligible for additional paid time off in the form of bereavement leave, time off to vote, jury duty leave, volunteer time off, military leave, parental leave, and COVID-19 vaccination leave.
