Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a Sales Enablement Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for supporting sales enablement initiatives that help the Specialty Diagnostics commercial organization leverage digital tools, data, and enablement technologies effectively. Working closely with marketing, sales operations, sales leadership, training, and commercial excellence teams, the Sales Enablement Specialist will support the implementation and continuous improvement of enablement programs, content management, sales technologies, and operational processes that improve commercial productivity and customer engagement.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of sales enablement platforms, sales operations processes, CRM systems, digital selling methodologies, and emerging AI-enabled commercial capabilities.
Responsibilities:
- Support and execute sales enablement programs across Specialty Diagnostics commercial teams.
- Ensure sales teams have access to accurate, up-to-date, and relevant content, tools, and training resources leveraging Showpad.
- Assist with onboarding and ongoing enablement initiatives for sales representatives, account managers, and field teams.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and product teams to organize and maintain enablement content libraries.
- Support the standardization of content governance, metadata standards, content lifecycle management, and publishing workflows across Showpad and AEM Assets.[RW1]
- Maintain platform structure, content governance, metadata, tagging, permissions, and user support.[MP2] [RW3]
- Serve as a functional administrator and power user for sales enablement platforms including Showpad.
- Support integration and alignment between enablement platforms, CRM systems, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and other commercial technologies.
- Monitor platform adoption, usage analytics, and engagement metrics to identify opportunities for optimization.
- Troubleshoot platform-related issues and coordinate with vendors and internal IT teams when needed.
- Support sales operations initiatives that improve commercial productivity and operational efficiency.
- Assist with reporting, dashboards, KPI tracking, and data analysis related to sales enablement activities.
- Collaborate with marketing, commercial excellence and sales operations teams to improve process consistency and data quality.
- Help document and maintain standard operating procedures and training materials.
- Support project coordination and implementation activities for commercial transformation initiatives.
Requirements/Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Minimum of 5 years of related experience in sales enablement, project management, and sales processes.
- Proven track record in project management, successfully leading and delivering complex projects.
- Strong understanding of the sales process and experience in developing and delivering sales enablement capabilities.
- Exceptional proficiency in using data to drive sales productivity.
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills, along with outstanding negotiation, facilitation, and consensus-building abilities.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
- Familiarity with Adobe DAM (AEM Assets) and Showpad or other sales enablement technology and tools is a plus.
