Who is Sonar?

Sonar helps prevent code quality and code security issues from reaching production, amplifies developers' productivity in concert with AI assistants, and improves the developer experience with streamlined workflows. Sonar analyzes all code, regardless of who writes it — your internal team, genAI, or third parties — resulting in more secure, reliable, and maintainable applications. Rooted in the open source community, Sonar’s solutions support over 30 programming languages, frameworks, and infrastructure technologies. Today, Sonar is used by +7M developers and 400K organizations worldwide, including the DoD, Microsoft, NASA, MasterCard, Siemens, and T-Mobile.

We believe in developing great products that are supported by great internal teams and a strong culture.  We are highly committed to and obsessed with the company, users, each other, and our open source community. We have high standards and hold each other accountable for acting with positivity, dedication, thoughtfulness, empathy, and passion daily.

We are deliberate with our decisions with high clarity of intention. At the same time, we feel extreme urgency and move forward quickly.

And lastly, we are highly effective and operationally efficient. We operate collectively as One Team to accomplish our goals.

At Sonar, CODE is more than just an acronym – it's a mindset that defines daily operations.

Why You Should Apply:

At Sonar, we’re a group of brilliant, motivated, and driven professionals working hard to help supercharge developers to build better, faster. Sonar helps to continuously improve code quality and code security while reducing developer toil. This means that developers can focus on doing more of what they love and less of what they don’t. Our solutions don’t just solve symptoms of problems – we help fix issues at the source – for all code, whether it's developer-written, AI-generated, or from third parties.

We have a dynamic culture with employees worldwide and hub offices in the USA, Switzerland, the UK, Singapore, and Germany. Team members should be able to come to work every day, work on a product they are proud of, love what they do, and feel energized by their peers. With our roots deep in the open source community, we’re all about the mission: supercharge developers to build better, faster.

The Impact You Will Have:

Step into a crucial strategic role where you'll directly empower Sonar's customer-facing revenue teams. As a Sales Enablement Program Manager, Americas, your core goal is to operationalize and manage key enablement programs and initiatives that deliver meaningful, scalable, and timely support. You'll be instrumental in executing strategies that equip our sales force with the insights, clarity, skills, tools, and confidence they need to act autonomously, deliver value, and drive growth.

You'll manage the development and execution of sales enablement programs and training sessions, continuously improving team performance, ensuring sellers have the latest tools, and keeping them updated on evolving business trends. Through the successful delivery of these programs, you'll contribute significantly to Sonar's market expansion, revenue growth, and the achievement of desired sales outcomes.

This role reports to the Director of Enablement, and will partner with our Enablement Program Manager, EMEA/APJ, for global programs.

What You Will Do Daily:

  • Own end-to-end enablement program execution: Design, launch, and manage high-impact sales enablement initiatives that drive measurable improvements in sales productivity, proficiency, and performance across all segments and roles.
  • Perform proactive needs analysis: Identify performance gaps through data, observation, and stakeholder input. Prioritize and execute programs that address these gaps through content, training, tools, and process improvements.
  • Partner with sales leadership and frontline managers: Collaborate closely with regional and global sales leaders to assess needs, align on priorities, and drive adoption of enablement programs that support quota attainment and seller development.
  • Curate and manage enablement content: Create, maintain, and organize resources such as playbooks, talk tracks, templates, and competitive assets to ensure reps have the right materials at the right time.
  • Deliver engaging learning experiences: Facilitate live and virtual training sessions, workshops, and certifications on topics including product knowledge, sales methodology, processes, tools, and industry best practices.
  • Drive cross-functional alignment: Act as a strategic connector between sales, product marketing, product management, marketing, and operations to ensure consistent messaging, readiness, and go-to-market execution.
  • Measure impact and optimize: Leverage performance metrics, feedback, and enablement platform data to assess program effectiveness and iterate continuously for greater impact.
  • Stay ahead of the curve: Monitor industry trends, competitive shifts, and innovations in enablement and learning to evolve our approach and maintain a modern, high-performing enablement function.

The Experience You Will Need:

  • 5+ years of experience in sales enablement.
  • 3+ years of sales experience, technical sales experience a plus (or proof that you have a strong understanding of the day to day challenges, activities, and motions of sales teams)
  • 3+ years in B2B tech software; ideally in a SaaS or subscription model.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful sales enablement programs and initiatives.
  • Communication & Facilitation Mastery: Strong communication, facilitation, and presentation skills, including the ability to effectively convey complex information and lead impactful learning sessions.
  • Organizational & Project Management Prowess: Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, enabling the management of multiple complex projects simultaneously.
  • Proactive Program Ownership: Proactive ownership and management of enablement programs from conception through successful execution and adoption, including independently identifying and solving problems.
  • Data-Informed Decision-Making: The ability to leverage data to analyze program performance, identify opportunities, and translate insights into actionable improvements.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration & Stakeholder Management: Exceptional skills in coordinating across functions and managing stakeholders, building productive relationships with sales leadership, marketing, and product teams.
  • Tool & Technology Proficiency: Hands-on experience with sales enablement tools and technologies such as CRM, sales engagement platforms, common AI tools, and learning management systems.
  • Team Building & Collaborative Problem-Solving: Strong team-building skills and a passion for helping others grow, along with a collaborative approach to problem-solving within enablement programs.
