We are seeking a driven Sales Development Representative who will be responsible for prospecting, qualifying leads, and building an initial pipeline of potential enterprise clients for LeanData's products or services. You’ll be part of a fast-moving, supportive team and will partner with Account Executives to engage decision-makers and influencers, communicate our value, and drive new business.
This role reports directly to the Director of Sales Development and requires strategic thinking, excellent communication skills, and the ability to understand complex customer needs.
We are looking for someone who is motivated, curious, and excited to hit the ground running on day one. Your pipeline is your playground - you build it, own it, grow it.
Please note: This is a hybrid role with in-office days on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
What you’ll be doing:
Getting on the phones and in the inbox every day, owning your outbound prospecting and responding to inbound leads
Qualifying leads and handing off the right opportunities to Account Executives with context that actually moves deals forward
Logging and tracking your pipeline in Salesforce so you always know where things stand
Working side by side with experienced sales reps to learn how deals get done and help push them forward
Bringing fresh ideas on what could be working better, whether that's messaging, targeting, or outreach strategy
Representing LeanData with professionalism and integrity in every conversation in all communication
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree
A natural communicator who isn't afraid to pick up the phone or walk into a room cold
Genuine passion for sales backed by work experience, internships, or extracurriculars
Consistent record of hitting goals and following through
Coachable, resilient, and eager to learn from feedback
Strong business insight and curiosity about the prospect's business
Do-er mentality: you move fast, take ownership, and don't wait to be told twice
Bonus points if you have:
Outbound sales experience
Hands-on experience in sales, customer interaction, leadership, or communication through an internship, part-time job, or extracurricular activities
