How do you build a world-class sales organization?
By creating a best-in-class Sales Development team. We are actively looking for driven, high-potential professionals to join our Mexico Sales Development organization to help us transform one of the most important industries on the planet.
Whether your strength lies in rapid inbound lead conversion, strategic outbound prospecting, or a mix of both, we are building a versatile team to fuel Motive's rapid expansion. As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), you will be the front-line voice of Motive—navigating organizations, identifying client challenges, and setting qualified discovery meetings for our Account Executive team.
During the interview process, we evaluate each candidate's unique strengths, communication style, and sales instincts to place you in the SDR path (Inbound, Outbound, or Hybrid) where you will thrive and make the biggest impact.
What You'll DoDepending on your specific role focus within the team, your day-to-day will involve a combination of the following:
Drive Qualified Pipeline: Engage prospective clients to identify operational challenges, qualify business fit against our Ideal Customer Profile (ICP), and book high-value meetings for Account Executives.
Inbound Lead Execution: Act as the first point of contact for warm prospects, converting incoming inquiries, trial requests, and content downloads into qualified pipeline through rapid speed-to-lead.
Outbound Prospecting: Execute targeted, multi-channel outreach campaigns (phone, email, social) to engage net-new accounts and decision-makers in key markets.
Serve as the Voice of Motive: Deliver an exceptional initial customer experience, educating prospects on how Motive connects physical operations, enhances fleet safety, and automates freight.
Opportunity Management: Diligently track interactions in Salesforce, manage follow-up cadences, and re-engage stalled or missed opportunities to maximize conversion.
We are seeking adaptable, ambitious candidates who bring a strong foundation for sales success:
Bilingual Proficiency: Fluent in both English and Spanish (written and verbal).
Core Sales Instincts: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a natural ability to connect, listen actively, and articulate value quickly.
Drive & Resilience: High energy, strong work ethic, and the grit to handle rejection while staying focused on target goals.
Agility & Curiosity: Quick learner who thrives in a fast-paced environment—whether responding rapidly to inbound interest or strategically researching outbound accounts.
Coachability: Low ego, open to constructive feedback, and passionate about continuous personal and career development.
Preferred Experience: Previous SDR, cold calling, customer-facing, or Salesforce experience is a plus (though strong potential and attitude come first).
Education: Bachelor’s Degree required.
This is a hybrid role based out of our Mexico City office (2–3 days in-office per week). Candidates must reside in or be willing to commute to the Mexico City area.
Creating a diverse and inclusive workplace is one of Motive's core values. We are an equal opportunity employer and welcome people of different backgrounds, experiences, abilities and perspectives.
