This role is located in Austin, TX or San Francisco, CA. You must be willing and able to work out of one of these locations to qualify.
This position is not eligible for F1 and J1 students. It is not available for any work sponsorship.
Our paid internship program runs for 12 weeks between May/June 2026 through August/September 2026.
Your Future Team
Our Sales Development interns partner with the Sales and Success Account Teams to drive projects that build the sales pipeline. You will report to a Sales Development Manager.
Responsibilities
- Accountable for projects surrounding SDR prospecting efforts
- Successful creation and analysis of value-driven messaging and persona identification
- AI initiatives that fuel the SDR engine
- Fun projects to drive the Atlassian culture, collaboration, and pipeline
- Collaboration with the account teams and key stakeholders.
- We work inside SFDC, Gong, Outreach, and LinkedIn Navigator.
Minimum Qualifications
- Able to commit to a 12-week full-time (40hrs/week) program during Summer 2026
- Currently enrolled in 4 a 4-year full-time degree program and returning to the program after the completion of the internship, graduating by June 2027
- Pursuing a degree in Business, Business Strategy, Business Administration, Communications, or a similar program
- Experience in project or group management

Compensation
At Atlassian, we strive to design equitable, explainable, and competitive compensation programs. To support this goal, the baseline of our range is higher than that of the typical market range, but in turn we expect to hire most candidates near this baseline. Base pay within the range is ultimately determined by a candidate's skills, expertise, or experience. In the United States, we have three geographic pay zones. For this role, our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:
Zone A: - $35/hr - $44/hr
Zone B: - $32/hr - $40/hr
Zone C: - $29/hr - $37/hr
This role may also be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.
