About the role
The Sales Development Manager leads and coaches Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) across EMEA and APAC, ensuring high-quality pipeline and regional performance. The role requires a data-driven approach to improve SDR effectiveness, a strong focus on mentoring and career development, and the ability to introduce new strategies that drive market engagement. Success comes from being an active listener, an authentic coach, and an advocate for the critical role of sales development in lead qualification and pipeline creation.
About the Team
The SDR team qualifies leads and generates pipeline for the Solutions Sales teams. They collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, and Revenue Operations to align on targets, processes, and campaigns, and thrive in an environment focused on continuous coaching, performance, and strategic execution.
Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day coaching to help SDRs overcome obstacles and achieve performance targets; conduct weekly one-on-one meetings to review results and development plans;
- Monitor and continuously optimize lead management processes, including lead queues and the use of Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and other sales tools to improve productivity;
- Review and audit Discovery Calls and pipeline reporting to ensure accurate qualification, tracking, and attribution;
- Represent the SDR organization in regional planning with Sales and Marketing, and execute campaigns across defined verticals and territories.
Requirements
- Experience as an SDR or within a B2B sales organization, with demonstrated progression and leadership capability;
- Good customer-facing communication skills, both written and verbal;
- Deep understanding of modern lead generation, social selling tools, and prospecting methodologies;
- Highly metrics-driven, with the ability to manage time effectively, prioritize competing demands, and operate with a high degree of autonomy;
- Results-oriented leader capable of coaching through rejection and maintaining team motivation;
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-growth environment;
- Passion for training, coaching, and developing talent;
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
