Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Development Manager to join our team. The SDR Manager will play a crucial role in leading and developing our sales development team, driving pipeline growth, and contributing to the overall success of our sales efforts.
Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) to achieve and exceed sales targets and objectives.
  • Personal Quota Goal: Help prospect and/or sell with a personal quota goal, demonstrating leadership by example and contributing directly to the team's success.
  • Strategy Development: Develop and implement strategic plans and initiatives to drive pipeline growth and maximize sales opportunities, particularly within the limited addressable audience of banks and credit unions.
  • Sales Development: Develop prospects into candidates by effectively communicating the value proposition tailored to their needs. Lead engaging and informative demonstrations of the Coviance software platform. Understand objections and help navigate prospective partners through the onboarding process. Ability to achieve sales targets.
  • Process Optimization: Continuously evaluate and optimize sales development processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness, taking into account the strategic nature of targeting banks and credit unions.
  • Training and Development: Provide ongoing training, coaching, and feedback to SDRs to enhance their skills, knowledge, and performance in strategic prospecting.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor and analyze key performance metrics, such as conversion rates, pipeline velocity, and lead generation, to track progress and identify areas for improvement within the targeted audience.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the sales and marketing teams to align strategies, share insights, and drive integrated campaigns tailored to banks and credit unions.
  • Technology Utilization: Utilize sales enablement tools, CRM systems, and other technologies to support sales development activities and enhance productivity within the specific target market.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports and updates on sales development activities, progress, and outcomes within the banks and credit unions segment to senior management.


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in sales development, lead generation, or inside sales roles, with a focus on strategic prospecting within banks and credit unions.
  • Previous experience in a leadership or management role, preferably managing a team of SDRs targeting a limited addressable audience.
  • Strong understanding of sales processes, methodologies, and best practices tailored to the banking and credit union industry.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans.
  • Ability to analyze data, draw insights, and make data-driven decisions to drive success within a specific target market.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems, sales enablement tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
