Delaware Life Marketing is building a data-informed distribution strategy, using technology and analytics to allow our sales team to cover large sales territories more efficiently. Today, Sales and Marketing data is primarily used in a descriptive manner, with a data pipeline being built to enable progression to diagnostic and predictive analytics. We are seeking a sales data analyst to join our analytics team to help build out both our data pipeline and our data analytics program.
Along with an educational background in data sciences, statistics, or other business analytics related fields, the successful candidate for this role will bring a strong sense of curiosity, and a desire to grow as a data analytics professional embedded within a business unit.
Top priorities of this role are:
- Assist in the development and maintain of the Data Pipeline
- Assist in the development of an analytics program for the distribution organization
- Develop the knowledge and skillset to represent Sales & Marketing team priorities with the data engineering & IT teams
Responsibilities:
- Assist in modelling data and maintaining databases by building stored procedures
- Map the connection of data-generating tools used by Delaware Life Marketing
- Compile and maintain documentation for a data dictionary and business glossary for Delaware Life Marketing
Requirements:
- Proactive, curious, self-starter capable of balancing multiple projects
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Data Science, Statistics, or Business Analytics.
- Experience with data automation and SQL/ETL, Tableau, Power BI
- Strong communication skills
