The role of the Sales Coordinator revolves around lead management. The candidate will handle leads generated from multiple sources such as the IFZA website, phone calls, Google Ads, WhatsApp, social media, seminars, and referrals.
The ideal candidate will be required to pre-qualify new and existing leads through cold calling and email follow-ups. The process is done from the office via telephone, email and in person during meetings and visits if necessary. The
candidate will liaise with the team manager and sales controller for seamless coordination.
Responsibilities:
• Pre-qualifying and coordinating with the sales controller to handle new leads.
• Following up on existing cold/warm leads
• Cold calling/emailing old existing leads to check their continued interest and
assigning them to CEM from the direct team
• Engaging in all CRM activities, staying updated on its features to maximize
system benefits
• Generating reports as required
• Liaising closely with marketing, finance, sales support, and operations to keep
clients updated
• Attending weekly sales meetings
• Attending key meetings and appraisals with the director of client relations
• Undertaking training and development activities as needed
• Staying informed about any changes or updates to laws and regulations
• Performing other assigned job-related duties as directed by management
• Following up on closed lost deals/ pending payments.
Requirements
• Full English proficiency is required.
• Intermediate computer literacy is required e.g: MS Office.
• Working knowledge of CRM platforms, Outlook.
• Exceptional email communication and interpersonal skills, and telephone
etiquette.
• Previous experience working in diverse organizations.
• Proven experience in customer support and client engagement.
• Cold calling experience – daily more than 50 calls.
• Background in customer service.
• Industry knowledge is a plus.
• Experience tracking relevant KPIs (e.g., customer satisfaction).
