About the Role
We are looking for an energetic and customer-focused Sales Associate to join the retail team at Ruff ‘n’ Tumble, Nigeria’s leading kids’ fashion brand. In this role, you will be the face of the brand—providing exceptional in-store experiences, guiding customers in their purchase decisions, and ensuring smooth sales operations from greeting to checkout.
This position is ideal for individuals passionate about fashion, customer service, and working in a dynamic, people-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Engagement & Sales Support
Greet and assist customers in a friendly, engaging, and professional manner.
Guide customers in selecting products, sizes, and styles that suit their needs.
Communicate product availability, promotions, and brand stories clearly.
Transaction Processing & Promotion
Operate the Point-of-Sale (POS) system accurately and efficiently.
Promote new arrivals, seasonal sales, and special offers.
Upsell and cross-sell complementary items to enhance customer value.
Store Maintenance & Brand Representation
Keep the store clean, tidy, and visually appealing at all times.
Participate in promotional activities outside the store (e.g., flyer distribution, local marketing efforts).
Maintain product displays and ensure merchandise is well-stocked.
Who You Are
Qualifications & Experience
Minimum of a WAEC/NECO certificate or equivalent.
0–1 year of experience in retail or customer service is an advantage.
Skills & Attributes
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Friendly, proactive, and customer-oriented.
Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Passion for fashion—especially kids' wear—and retail excellence.
High level of reliability, integrity, and professionalism.
Work Environment
Onsite role at one of our retail locations.
May involve standing for long periods and assisting with light in-store restocking.
Skills Required
