About the Role
Experienced SAP IBP Lead responsible for driving end-to-end supply chain planning solutions across Demand Planning (DP), Supply Network Planning (SNP), and Production Planning & Detailed Scheduling (PPDS). The role involves leading global implementations, managing AMS support, driving process transformation, and ensuring seamless integration between SAP systems while aligning with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Lead & manage SAP IBP engagements across DP, SNP, and PPDS modules, ensuring solution delivery & system stability.
Own end-to-end planning processes including demand forecasting, supply planning, deployment, and detailed scheduling.
Resolving complex issues related to process chains, heuristics (SNP/PPDS), CIF integration, and planning inconsistencies.
Drive design and implementation of scalable solutions, enhancements, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Lead requirement gathering workshops, define solution architecture, and review functional design documents.
Ensure high-quality configuration, testing (SIT/UAT), and successful go-live support.
AMS support and rollout programs across regions (APAC, EMEA, US, India), ensuring SLA adherence.
Act as a primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, aligning solutions with business needs.
Provide strategic inputs for process optimization, automation, and reduction of manual planning efforts.
Guide planning activities using tools like DS Planning Board, Product View, Planning Table (PPT), Requirement & Receipt Views.
Lead and mentor team members, conduct knowledge sharing sessions, and ensure capability development within the team.
Conduct user trainings, workshops, and ensure smooth transition during post go-live support.
Support system deployments, transports, and change management across multiple landscapes (DEV, QA, PROD)
Required Skills
8+ years of relevant experience working extensively with S4 HCM in multinational environments
Strong expertise in SAP IBP DP, SNP, and PPDS modules
Deep understanding of CIF integration and ECC–APO landscape
Proven experience in leading global implementations and AMS engagements
Strong problem-solving skills in supply chain planning and optimization
Experience in stakeholder management and cross-functional coordination
Ability to drive solution design, architecture, and process improvements
Experience working in testing cycles and production support environments
Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation capabilities.
Strong communication & stakeholder management skills, with ability to work independently & manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Qualifications & Certifications preferred for this position.
Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Engineering in any other stream
Experience in global template rollouts
