About the Role

We are looking for an experienced RPA Managed Services Lead (UiPath) to lead our UiPath Managed Services team and ensure seamless operation of enterprise automation solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in UiPath along with hands-on experience managing production support, bot monitoring, client engagement, incident management, and service delivery.

This role requires someone who can lead support operations, optimize bot performance, manage SLAs, mentor team members, and work closely with global clients to maximize the value of their automation investments.

Key Responsibilities

Managed Services Operations

  • Lead daily monitoring and support of UiPath automation environments.
  • Ensure bots are running successfully and proactively resolve production issues.
  • Monitor bot execution, queues, schedules, and unattended automation performance.
  • Perform health checks and maintain high availability of automation services.

Incident & Service Management

  • Manage production incidents, service requests, and support tickets.
  • Ensure timely resolution of issues while meeting defined SLAs and turnaround times.
  • Perform root cause analysis for recurring issues and implement preventive measures.
  • Maintain proper documentation of incidents, fixes, and operational procedures.

Client Engagement

  • Act as the primary point of contact for managed services clients.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders and provide proactive support.
  • Conduct regular client reviews and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service delivery.

Bot Performance & Optimization

  • Analyze bot performance and identify opportunities for optimization.
  • Improve automation stability, efficiency, and resource utilization.
  • Optimize bot schedules, queues, and license usage.
  • Coordinate with development teams for enhancement requests and production fixes.

Infrastructure & Platform Management

  • Manage UiPath Orchestrator environments and bot deployments.
  • Monitor VM utilization, robot availability, and license allocation.
  • Support infrastructure upgrades, maintenance activities, and platform enhancements.
  • Ensure automation environments comply with organizational standards and security policies.

Team Leadership

  • Lead and mentor the Managed Services support team.
  • Allocate work, monitor performance, and ensure quality service delivery.
  • Coach team members on troubleshooting, best practices, and operational excellence.
  • Foster a collaborative and customer-focused culture.

Reporting & Governance

  • Prepare operational dashboards and service reports.
  • Track KPIs, SLAs, incident trends, bot utilization, and system performance.
  • Present performance reports and improvement recommendations to internal leadership and clients.
  • Drive continuous service improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 8+ years of overall experience in Robotic Process Automation (RPA).
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in UiPath Managed Services, Production Support, or Automation Support.
  • Strong experience supporting enterprise automation environments.
  • Experience working with global clients and managing service delivery.
  • Knowledge of ITIL processes and support operations is an added advantage.

Required Technical Skills

  • Strong hands-on experience with UiPath Orchestrator.
  • Experience managing unattended robots, queues, assets, triggers, and schedules.
  • Good understanding of UiPath Automation Cloud and On-Premise environments.
  • Knowledge of robot deployment, package management, and release processes.
  • Experience with bot monitoring, production support, and troubleshooting.
  • Strong understanding of exception handling and logging frameworks.
  • Knowledge of SQL databases and basic database troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with REST APIs and system integrations.
  • Experience with Windows Servers, Virtual Machines, and infrastructure monitoring.
  • Understanding of license management and robot utilization.
  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and version control tools is an advantage.

Preferred Skills

  • UiPath Certified Professional (Associate or Advanced).
  • Experience working with enterprise automation environments.
  • Knowledge of Document Understanding (DU), AI Center, and Integration Service is desirable.
  • Experience supporting cloud-based automation platforms.
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow, Jira, or other ITSM ticketing tools.
