What does a successful Risk Assurance Advisor II do at Fiserv?

This role requires a blend of strong analytical skills, project management expertise, client relationship management, and a deep understanding of risk and controls. It is ideal for someone who enjoys both strategic planning and hands-on project execution, while also focusing on client satisfaction and effective oversight. A self-starter with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, in-person environment, leading with a positive mindset. Understanding client contractual commitments and the solutions across the Fiserv lines of business is key.

What you will do:

  • Evaluate and improve business processes to ensure they meet requirements and organizational goals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal relationship teams to understand their client requirements and ensure effective communication.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries related to corporate and compliance.
  • Communicate risk management strategies and project goals effectively to all stakeholders, as related to client oversight.
  • Develop project plans, set timelines, allocate resources, and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. Including overseeing risk and controls-related projects from inception to completion, as needed.
  • Monitor and ensure that all business processes and projects comply with relevant controls and internal policies and standards.
  • Create detailed reports on risk assessments, project progress, and compliance status. Maintain comprehensive documentation of all risk management activities and project plans.

You will need to have:

  • Client Focus: Strong client relationship management skills to handle inquiries and support oversight activities.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to assess complex business processes and identify potential risks.

  • Technical Proficiency: Understanding of relevant requirements and tools (ServiceNow, Excel, PowerBI). Insight into or willingness to understand the technical landscape of Fiserv is important.
  • Independence: Ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Leadership: Either through direct reports or oversight across peers to collectively ensure the goals are met.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills to navigate complex risk and compliance issues.
  • Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing regulatory environments and business needs.

Would be great to have:

  • People management background
  • Strong developer skills in Excel, PowerBI, and data analytics to reduce risk
  • Experience with GRC software and risk management tools
