Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Risk Analytics professional to join our Enterprise Risk Management Organization.
This role is responsible for providing risk analytics support to Financial and Model Risk oversight groups, including but not limited to Credit, Collection, Fraud, Seller, Acquiring, Treasury oversight. This role connects the dots between business, model, and data by providing insights through in-depth data analysis. This role also provides critical support in ad hoc analysis required for business enablement and new risk initiatives to support PP’s growth.

Job Description:

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement data science models and algorithms.
  • Analyze and interpret complex data sets.
  • Ensure data quality and integrity.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements.
  • Optimize data processes for efficiency and performance.
  • Perform advanced statistical analysis and reporting.

Expected Qualifications:

  • 1+ years relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree OR Any equivalent combination of education and experience.

Additional Responsibilities & Preferred Qualifications:

This role is part of the broader AI/Model/Quant Risk Oversight function.
The AI/Model/Quant Risk Oversight team:
• Oversees and proactively challenges our model use and AI application.
• Supports effective model development/deployment and responsible AI innovation
• Ensure model/AI practice meets regulatory compliance requirement, strengthening decision-making, protecting customers and safeguarding the company from financial and reputational damage
• Partners with financial risk oversight groups in conducting in-depth, thematic reviews of various products and risk functions, providing data insights and expertise around strategy development and risk mitigations

You will make an impact by ensuring that;
· Support Credit & Collection, Fraud, Seller, Merchant acquiring, Treasury oversight with data insights to enable effective challenges
· Provide critical support in ad hoc analysis required for business enablement and risk initiatives
· Conduct model validation and challenger model development to ensure models are robust, and aligned with model usage
· Leverage AI to enhance risk analytics functionality to bring out more data insights
· Contribute to the major uplift of data infrastructure and other requirement per PPEU ECB supervision readiness project
In your day-to-day role you will;
· Oversee and challenge risk analytics practices across various groups within the company, primarily focused on Fraud, Seller and Credit risks, including use of machine learning and advanced analytics to detect and mitigate risks
· Conduct root cause analysis to identify opportunities and gaps in existing strategies and controls.
· Perform model validation and/or development across various risk and business domains, ensuring models are conceptually sound, effectively implemented, and compliant with internal policy and standards. Collaborate with business units and model developers to ensure model issues are agreed and remediated in a timely manner. Utilize knowledge of and experience with Python and SQL, big data, and statistical and machine learning models (e.g., logistic regression, time series, random forests, SVMs, XGBoost, CNNs/RNNs).
· Develop and analyze multiple reports and dashboards, looking at key risk indicators and relevant business metrics to uncover emerging trends and areas of opportunities
· Partner with financial risk oversight groups in conducting in-depth, thematic reviews of various products and risk functions, providing data insights and expertise around strategy development and analytics.

The US national annual pay range for this role is $100,500 to $173,250
