RF Engineer II
This position is hybrid model in our São Bernardo do Campo unit.
Position Summary
Execute the technical activities which integrates the life cycle of a complete engineering project, since the conception up to the final delivery including support to production, assuring the attendance to all the requirements, defining the most appropriate trade-off for the project (cost / technology / maturity / sustainability).
Key Areas of Responsibility
- Work with the technical team to understand the client's needs to prepare the technical proposal and estimate deadlines and costs to integrate the commercial proposal;
- Work with the technical team to define the hardware solution to meet the project requirements;
- Define, together with the technical team and building-blocks design authority, the best trade-off (cost, performance, maturity, sustainability) to meet the hardware needs of the project;
- Develop projects for analog circuits and RF signal transmission, reception and processing systems that make up the solution, respecting the company's processes;
- Ensure, through simulations, studies and analyses, that the technical solution proposed or developed by the team meets the project requirements, restrictions and needs;
- Ensure the preparation and updating of all technical documentation necessary for the production, testing, maintenance and evolution of the solutions under the guidance of the technical manager;
- Interact with other team members, providing support for PCB layout, mechanics and cable designs and development of other adjacent subsystems;
- Plan the testing of solutions, ensuring the development of documents, specifying testing tools (such as testbench and software), preparation of the test environment and execution of the activities foreseen in the testing procedures;
- Give support to production: conduct investigations into technical issues encountered with the electronic building-blocks in production and operation; propose and validate the corrections implemented in response to the issues encountered; carry out proactive monitoring of obsolescence on the products for which she/he is responsible; manage customer complaints (both internal and external) by implementing corrective actions and conducting "8D" type analyses;
- Interact with other areas of the company, when necessary, in order to guarantee the execution of the tasks under your responsibility;
- Act in the creation, documentation, maintenance and evolution of processes, tools and practices of the area together with the Building Blocs design authority;
- Transfer knowledge to other departments so that they can perform the activities related to integration, installation and maintenance;
- Participate in audits to ensure that operational standards and security procedures are being followed;
- Monitor the activities carried out by the younger members of the team, providing support, guidance, contributing to the quality of their deliveries and assisting in their personal development;
- Perform other related tasks at the discretion of the immediate superior.
Minimum Qualifications
- Graduated in Electric Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computing engineering or another related course.
- Advanced English;
- MS Office Tools;
- Lab instruments for RF;
- Analog and Digital HW;
- Antenna;
- Schematics tools, circuit simulation tools;
- MATLAB;
- Simulink;
- Cadence Allegro
