Job DescriptionAs a Senior Product Manager for Risk and Controls in Brazil, you will define and implement the mechanisms that prevent financial crime. You will collaborate with compliance and risk teams to analyze our current framework, identify key opportunities, and deliver systemic improvements. As you enhance existing controls or develop new ones, you will ensure they scale effectively while maintaining a seamless experience for customers by working closely with the onboarding team. You will also partner with the operations teams to make processes and tools more efficient and scalable. Additionally, you will engage with global due diligence and financial crime prevention teams to integrate global innovations into the Brazilian market.
Your Mission
Develop and launch controls that detect and mitigate suspicious activity while meeting regulatory requirements in Brazil.
Balance robust protection with an intuitive experience for legitimate customers.
Collaborate with KYC Operations to design scalable processes and supportive tooling.
Measure outcomes and iterate based on data insights and emerging threats.
Monitor and enhance control effectiveness and quality assurance.

We are looking for:
Sector Expertise: Proven experience in fraud prevention, AML, risk management, or related financial crime domains.
Analytical Depth: Experience with control effectiveness and assurance is a plus.
Technical Fluency: Comfort navigating system architecture and engaging in detailed technical discussions with engineering teams.
Structured Problem-Solving: Ability to break down complex, ambiguous challenges and align them with the broader mission.
Proactive Mindset: A hands-on approach to diving into analytics, engaging with customers, and moving projects from concept to completion.
Collaboration Skills: Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Agile Experience: Experience working within an agile fintech environment.
Adaptability: Self-driven and comfortable navigating ambiguity to build new solutions.
Language: Fluency in English.
