Nokia is expanding its existing Electrical Engineering team and is seeking candidates to work in RF domain.
We are looking for a HW Engineer, DPD - member of RF Power Amplifier and Digital Pre-Distortion team contributing to digital pre-distortion development.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities for candidates:
DPD (digital pre-distortion) development and verification for radio products towards maximized efficiency, linearity, and overall RF performance
Analyze and troubleshoot RF system issues related to DPD performance
Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans and procedures for DPD verification
Contribute to the innovation and development of new DPD technologies and methodologies
You have:
- BSc or MSc degree in electrical engineering or similar
- Experience of digital signal processing (DSP) and knowledge of Digital Pre-distortion (DPD) designs and topologies
- Experience of RF measurement equipment and tools, including MATLAB and Python coding
- Strong analytical skills with problem-solving capability
Nice to have skills/experience:
- Knowledge of wireless communication standards & regulations (e.g., LTE, 5G, FCC)
- Understanding of RF system architecture, encompassing both hardware and software interactions
- Familiarity with industry-standard RF simulation tools is a significant advantage.
